Radio: Sound and Imagination

Radio is a medium that lends itself well to narratives. When creating a story, I first find a particular topic that interests me. Next, I expand it, by doing interviews, collecting research, and organizing my own reflections. Finally, after collecting a jumble of ideas and thoughts, I try to tie it all together in a conclusion that has a unified feel. This leaves me with a specific beginning, a concise ending, and the winding path in between. To hear how this all works, listen to the pieces I've posted below (downloadable in ZIP format).

Kentucky Theater

In this piece, I head into the heart of Lexington, KY to find out what exactly makes this unique theater tick.

College Sleeping Habits

This story documents my own personal experience with roommate tension as I try to just get some sleep.
